Life moves quickly. As a photographer, I capture the beauty of your life in the present so you can remember it in the future. I love the details - the soft peach fuzz on a newborn's ears, the twinkle in the eyes of a couple expecting their first baby, the way parents look at each other in delight while their children run around wild and free. In the photography world, we call this lifestyle photography. We capture what is real because what is real is what's most beautiful.

Hello there!

I’m Emily - a photographer, wife, mama, real estate agent, and Kansas girl who loves creating art with you as the subject. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2013 and still can’t believe I’m doing what I love for a living. My favorite places to shoot are in my natural-light home studio and wherever I can find a patch of wildflowers.

I live in Wichita with my husband David, daughters Clementine & Rosemary, pups Pippa & Freddy, three chickens, and an assortment of half dead houseplants. I'm the oldest of six kids, which trained me well in handling newborns, wrangling wiggly toddlers, and making children laugh hard (usually at the expense of my dignity).  When I'm not behind the camera or at the computer, I like to take long walks, write songs, and play my secondhand piano.
